Arnold School of Public Health

Prerequisites

The program’s admissions process insures that admitted students have the background to succeed. Admission to the DPT program requires that students have obtained a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education.

In addition, all students enrolled in the program are required to have successfully completed selected prerequisite coursework prior to enrollment, including those listed below. An in-depth list of prerequisites is available on the PTCAS site.

AP coursework may be used to fulfill prerequisite requirements, but they will not be included in your prerequisite GPA calculation as they do not carry any GPA points.

*Our students are required to have taken Medical Terminology before they begin the program. Those who are lacking this requirement will be provided an online course in the summer before the program at no cost.
