Financial Aid

While you are not expected to advise students on the intricacies of financial aid and education abroad, your students may come to you with questions about the process. The information here may be useful as you work with your students.

Existing Loans / Scholarships

The majority of scholarships and financial aid received for study on campus can be applied toward a study abroad program. We recommend that students check with the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships to ensure that they can apply their existing aid to their study abroad program. Students are also encouraged to bring a printed copy of their financial aid award to an advising session so that our advisors may help them decipher how their aid will transfer.

Study Abroad Scholarships
