University Housing is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and dedicated student to serve as a FIXX Assistant! In this role, the candidate will work in the FIXX Office, routing and prioritizing incoming service requests through the call center and online submission platform. Candidate will assist with work order submissions as well as general clerical work. Candidates will enjoy a flexible shedule with shifts available for day, evening, and overnight.

The Resident Assistant (RA) is a full-time student selected to serve as an advisor, referral resource, and positive role model to residents by exhibiting compassion and concern to guide them through their Carolina experience. Under direct supervision, the RA ensures the safety and security of residents through established protocols, provides administrative support and assists with larger departmental initiatives. Under general supervision and in alignment with the EngageCarolina student engagement framework, the RA hosts events, shares important information, has intentional conversations with a focus on a group of 25 to 60 residents.

The Neighborhood Service Specialist (NSS) is a full-time student selected to work in one or more of the Neighborhood Service Offices to provide customer service to residents and guests and perform administrative tasks to support hall staff as needed. The NSS position is an opportunity available for those that currently hold or have previously held an employment or leadership position in University Housing. Preference will be given to past Resident Assistants (previously Resident Mentors).
