Student Outcomes

The University of South Carolina – Columbia campus and the Palmetto College campuses regularly review and monitor multiple Student Outcomes data metrics. This includes information such as retention and graduation rates, licensure data, and placement rate data, in addition to monitoring our progress against peer institution data. OIRAA is currently in the process of developing new reports of graduation rates and retention rates for all eight USC campuses. These new reports will provide improved transparency in cohort data, with more focus on each campus as well as individual colleges and schools. Additionally, demographics such as Race/Ethnicity, Pell Grant recipients, and First Generation students will be easier to reference on a per campus/college basis.
