The Office of Student Disability Services (OSDS) offers unique accommodations for students with accessibility needs. You will be provided with transportation to and from class on campus while classes are in session.
The application process can take several weeks so take care of the registration as soon as possible.
The COMET’s DART (Dial A Ride Transit) service is available for those that have a disability and cannot ride regular COMET or UofSC Transit buses.
You must be preregistered before you can get access to the service, and it can take up to 21 days to determine eligibility.
Columbia to Charlotte Shuttle
Sometimes, air travel is the best way to go. You may have chosen to study abroad or, perhaps, you are heading home for a long-anticipated family visit. Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) is a short journey from campus and Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is approximately 1 1/2 hours away.
If you decide to fly Charlotte Douglas International Airport, take advantage of the Columbia Charlotte Shuttle. This service will take you to the Charlotte airport from any Columbia location. It will also deliver you to campus, or another Columbia location, from the airport. The service costs $55 per person each way.
Holiday shuttles are offered via Student Government Association during Fall and Spring Breaks.
