Application Tips

• DEADLINE: Applications for the 2026-2027 Undergraduate Research Ambassador cohort will be accepted until 11:59 pm on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. 
• We recommend that applicants type out responses to the short-answer questions in a separate document to check spelling and grammar, then paste them into the application fields.
• Because this position involves sharing about your personal research experience, your current (or a former) Faculty Research Mentor will be informed via email of your application and asked to complete a brief Undergraduate Research Ambassador Mentor Support Form as part of your application.  We strongly encourage informing your mentor that you are applying for the role and notifying them that our office will be sending them a short verification form on your behalf upon receipt of your application.
• Please ensure that your Faculty Research Mentor submit the Undergraduate Research Ambassador Mentor Support Form before Thursday, March 5 at 5:00 pm.
