Dr. Zhengqing Fu, Assistant Professor in Biological Sciences, and colleagues Ming Chang, Huan Chen, Jian Chen, Min Li, and Ian Palmer just published  study entitled "PBS3 protects EDS1 from proteasome-mediated degradation in plant immunity" in the journal Molecular Plant. This study reveals a novel mechanism by which plants fine-tune defense responses by inhibiting the degradation of a positive player in plant immunity.  Learn more about it here!
