Donald Fowler was a beloved professor and political leader.
He taught at the University of South Carolina for nearly 50 years while also serving
the Democratic Party at the state and national level. He was a champion for bipartisanship,
democracy and civil dialogue; winning the respect and admiration of students and politicians
from all sides of politics. He died on December 15, 2020 at the age of 85.
The College of Arts and Sciences is hosting this virtual tribute with his friends,
