Avery Kral has been accepted to the master's program in History & Philosophy of Science & Medicine at the University of Cambridge. After studying Biblical Hebrew remotely this summer with Harvard Divinity School, he intends to continue graduate study in bioethics and the history of philosophy and science, with a focus on antiquity and the Middle Ages.

Avery is a senior in the Honors college majoring in Classics, Philosophy, and Global Studies. He is a Stamps Scholar and a Critical Language Scholarship Alumnus. For the latter award he has acted as a Fellowship Peer Mentor. In Fall 2019 he helped to found the nation's only undergraduate-led Minorities and Philosophy chapter and has served as secretary ever since. He is also the president of Cloud Philosophy Club -- a secret that is less well-kept with every meeting.
