Audiovisual Technology

All Classrooms are equipped with a smart podium and projection system that consists of an in-room computer, laptop connections, document camera, cable television, BluRay DVD player, and Apple TV. Classrooms are outfitted with microphones and cameras for lecture capture and video conferencing.

Lighting and windows shades can be adjusted at the wall next to one of the entrances to aid in screen visibility.

To get started with the classroom all you need to do is tap to wake the touch panel on the podium and then select your desired device. The projector will turn on and if necessary, the screen will lower from the ceiling.

Our teaching courtrooms are fully equipped just like our classrooms but with a few additional capabilities to accommodate a courtroom environment. Additional monitors, microphones, and points of input can be found at the counsel tables, witness box, jury, and clerk tables. For assistance in using one of our courtrooms with these features please contact Randall Wilcox for assistance.

Our Standard Meeting rooms are equipped with laptop connectivity and an in-room display. These meeting rooms are a simple plug-n-play setup. All the end-user needs to do is connect their device to the provided cables and the room display will turn on and display the user's device. The following rooms are Standard Meeting rooms:

  • 125A — Student Services Meeting Room
  • 125B — Student Services Meeting Room
  • 209H — Faculty Meeting Room

When you encounter any problems in the classroom try rebooting the system or device you are using. If you continue to have trouble in the classroom you may tap the “AV Help” button on the control panel or submit a ticket.
