About 

Sherry has worked in the field of international education as an educator and administrator for 18 years. She has worked around the world in a variety of contexts to help international students of all ages achieve their academic goals. She holds a PhD in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching and is a consulting faculty member in the Linguistics Program at USC. She has presented locally, nationally and internationally on a range of topics including teaching English as a second language, curriculum development, international student retention, program design and assessment of productive language skills.

International Experience 

Sherry spent six years after graduating from the South Carolina Honors College travelling and working internationally. She frequently travels to visit family in St Petersburg, Russia. She has lived and worked in China, Thailand and England and has travelled to over 40 countries.
