Research and Teaching  Interests 

Carmen Blanco obtained her MSc. in Instructional Design & Learning Technology from Anderson University. She has worked as a Community Health Worker both nationally and internationally in the areas of child protection, gender equality, chronic disease prevention and mitigation, and water and sanitation practices. Her experience lies in working with unhoused, uninsured, migrant, and drug-user populations. She joined the Center for Community Health Alignment as a Training Specialist in 2021. In this role, she facilitates participatory trainings rooted in addressing health inequities and provides assistance in curriculum design and development.
