Haley Turner serves as an Education Abroad Advisor and the Marketing Coordinator in the office, meeting one-on-one with students and supporting them through the study abroad process while also leading the EAO's marketing, outreach, and recruitment efforts. Haley advises students who are hoping to learn more about education abroad programs in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Haley first became interested in study abroad during her time at Auburn University, where she studied Psychology and Global Studies, with a minor in Intercultural Communication. Her first education abroad experience took her to New Zealand and Fiji, where she focused on sustainable and cultural tourism. She later attended a winter break study abroad program to Peru and returned to Fiji for an abroad internship.

After graduating with her undergraduate degree, Haley earned her master’s degree in Communication for Development and Social Change from Temple University. During her time there, she worked alongside a group of Bolivian tourism professionals on a project to support stakeholders in the Bolivian tourism industry.

In her free time, Haley enjoys trying out new coffee shops, going for a run, and catching up on her favorite reality tv shows.
