She also meets one-on-one with students and supports them through the study abroad process. Marci advises students who are exploring their options abroad as well as those who wish to go to Europe. Marci liaises with our European International Business Exchange and International Business Chohort host universities.
Marci’s experience with studying abroad started in high school through the German American Partnership Program exchange in Berlin, Germany. Her time in Germany solidified her passion for languages, cultures, and traveling. Since then, Marci has studied abroad in St. Petersburg, Russia. Marci is working towards fluency in both Russian and German and has a continued interest in learning additional languages.
After graduating with her undergraduate degree, Marci earned her master’s degree in Russian and Slavonic Studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia. In her time there, she worked as a teaching assistant for the German Studies department, was the graduate student liaison for the German and Russian departments, and helped organize and host the School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures’ first student symposium.
In her free time, you may find Marci working on her latest craft project, learning a new recipe, or at the park with her family.
