Chris focuses on integrating international students into the Gamecock Community.
He coordinates student services for international students on personal, cultural, and immigration concerns. Chris was previously a student advisor with ISS, and he has extensive experience working with internationals both domestically and abroad. He has worked in numerous capacities with Columbia’s resettled refugee population, and from 2012-2015, Chris lived in Tanzania doing grassroots development work. He returned to ISS in 2015; in his current role, he provides support services to students in EPI, IAP, and the general international student community, He also works on campus internationalization efforts. He has travelled to several countries throughout Africa, Asia, and Europe and looks forward to future travels. He loves music from around the world, and his favorite event of the year is when he gets to DJs the International Festival on Greene Street for International Education Week!
