What to Expect
Date: Thursday, April 11, 2024
5:00 pm-6:00 pm: Networking Hour
6:00 pm-9:00 pm: Diversity Gala
Location: Russell House Ballroom
The CEC Diversity Gala is a collaborative initiative involving minority representation clubs at USC, including the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, Women in Computing, Theta Tau, and other on-campus professional organizations. The primary goal of this event is to encourage professional networking and champion diversity within the CEC.
The gala promises an evening filled with inspiring keynote speakers, opportunities for each student organization to introduce their chapter, and a dinner. Moreover, the event will provide dedicated time for students to engage in professional networking opportunities with engineering professionals and faculty.
Term: Spring
Participation Instructions: All enrolled students can participate but most beneficial for students in the College of Engineering and Computing and students in STEM fields.
Requirements
Time Commitment: 3 - 4 hours
