Rose Cisneros joined the communications team after working in publication and newsprint for half a decade. During her time as news editor at a weekly paper, she also designed, wrote and edited several yearly special publications, including the Lexington County newcomers guide. Rose now writes feature stories, web content and promotional copy in line with the College of Arts and Sciences’ mission and values. She enjoys telling stories that connect people from different backgrounds in a way that emphasizes the humanity in us all.

In her spare time, Rose roller skates at our local Owens Field skatepark, plays drums and guitar, practices calligraphy and collects craft projects — which, more times than not, sit half-started scattered around her house. She also spends a lot of time chasing after the affection of her gremlin of a cat, Wombat.
