Assistant Professor Elizabeth Connors has published a piece in the Washington Post’s Monkey Cage outlining the results from her recent research on American attitudes towards the legitimacy of the recent Presidential elections. One key conclusion from her work is that “…The U.S. has become so polarized that many Republicans feel strong social pressure not to accept a democratic transition of power.
