MPA Internship Requirement
Through job shadowing, I formed important relationships and realized that no matter
where you start out, there’s always room for growth and so many avenues you can pursue
in state government.
An internship in a public agency or nonprofit organization is required in the MPA program. This requirement is waived for professionals already working in the field. The internship is an integral part of the curriculum, as it allows students to experience the real world of public service.
Contact Mike Shealy, our Internship Coordinator at MLS83@mailbox.sc.edu, for more information.
