Background
Walter Clifford IV (BJ) received his BA from Northeastern Illinois University and his MA from the University of South Carolina. He is currently in the doctoral program where his dissertation project seeks to reconstruct foodways of the Yamasee. His research interests include paleoethnobotany, colonial entanglements, archaeology of the Southeast, geographic information systems, heavy metal, and competitive adult kickball.
