On March 21, 2019, the University of South Carolina College of Nursing hosted the biennial Celebrate Nursing Gala and Silent Auction. Over 150 guests attended and raised nearly $25,000 for student support and scholarships. The event was held at 1208 Washington Place in downtown Columbia, South Carolina, and featured a silent auction and the presentation of the 2019 Philanthropy Awards. Award recipients included:
