Jennie Chang De Gagne, PhD, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, CNE, ANEF, FAAN, is a Clinical Professor and the Director of the Nursing Education Major/Certificate at the Duke University School of Nursing (DUSON).

Topic: Navigating the New Frontier: AI's Impact on Nursing Education and Practice

Attendees will delve into the dynamic impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in nursing education and practice. The session will address how AI can enhance teaching strategies and enrich student learning experiences, with a focus on critically examining practical AI applications for integration into nursing curricula. This includes a special emphasis on developing AI literacy that is essential in contemporary health care settings. Participants will gain insights into the symbiotic relationship between AI advancements and nursing education, understanding how this integration, balanced with ethical considerations, is pivotal in preparing both current and future nursing professionals.
