NANCY TWOHEY
ASSISTANT TO THE DEAN

Nancy Twohey hails from Long Island, N.Y. and holds a bachelor's degree from SUNY at Stony Brook. She also holds a paralegal certificate from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York.

She was employed by AT&T for 13 years, first as a teleconference operator and later, as a customer service representative.

When Twohey began working for the then College of Journalism and Mass Communications in 1999, she held a job in the graduate student services office assisting its director. After the merger and resultant restructuring, she was asked to be the assistant to Charles Bierbauer, the dean of the College of Mass Communications and Information Studies.

She lives in Columbia with her husband, Rick.
