Volunteering for CreateAthon@USC not only benefits the nonprofits involved, it’s highly rewarding for students. Doing real pro bono work pays off big time by setting you apart from the competition when it’s time for job hunting.

Any student is welcome to apply. There are no prerequisites or requirements. If you think outside of the box, you’ll fit right in.

There are two ways for students to participate:

Nonprofit Creative Teams
We need thinkers, writers, art directors, designers, photographers, videographers, audio video producers, editors, web strategists, UX designers and app developers. We want you. Join our team and you will be building and pitching a campaign that a nonprofit will leave with and use in their organization.

Documentary/House Team
While the creative teams are full of action, there’s no lack of excitement behind the scenes. We need multimedia creators, writers, social media wizards, AV producers and editors who can work before, during and after CreateAthon@USC to record the event and tell our story, creating content from social media to video — maybe even making a documentary — are especially welcome. It’s up to you. Be creative and help spread the word.
