Spring Reunion Weekend
- May 16-17, 2008
Come see how campus has changed!
As the trees and flowers are in full bloom and the warm weather
returns, Carolina alumni will flock back to campus for a new tradition
with the Spring Reunion 2008 being held May 16-17.
In addition
to the excitement of class reunions and visiting new and old familiar
places on campus, the Spring Reunion Weekend includes more opportunities
to reconnect with the University as well as individual schools
and colleges.
Class reunions were traditionally held in conjunction with Homecoming
Weekend in the fall, with many events revolving around a home football
game. While that's not a bad thing, it sometimes made it difficult
to plan other events due to the tentative nature for set kick-off
times for Carolina football.
"The weekend is designed to give alumni the opportunity to see
how campus has changed and to take part in classes, reunions, musical
concerts, tours, social activities and many other programs," says
Lynn Bradley, Assistant Executive Director of Alumni Engagement.
There will be something for alumni of all ages and their families.
