of the College of Mass Communications and Information
Studies gathered on Gibbes Green on Friday, Nov.
11 for Gamecocks on the Green, the college’s
annual Homecoming celebration.
A brisk autumn evening provided a perfect setting
for the event, which helped kick off the university’s Homecoming weekend.
More than 130 people attended the event which included
visits by Cocky, the university’s mascot, and
newly crowned Homecoming Queen Christina Galardi,
a senior public relations student in the School of
Journalism and Mass Communications.
