Strength & Conditioning

The STWFC offers members a variety of weight-training and cardiovascular equipment and a 1/7 mile track.

How to make a weight room reservation

  1. Click “Create Account” on
  2. Fill out all information and click “Sign-Up”.  Remember you must use your UofSC email address.
  3. Go to your email and activate your account with the email they send you.
  1. Log-in to your account on
  2. Click on the “Fitness” tab at the top of your UofSC home page.
  3. For Group X classes
    1. Select the class that you would like to reserve for that day, or search future classes by date or format.
    2. Click “Sign-up” and submit all required information.
  4. For the STWFC Weight Floor
    1. Select the day and time slot that you would like to reserve.
    2. Click “Sign-up” and submit all required information.
  5. Click “Sign-up” and submit all required information.
  6. You have now completed your reservation, look for a confirmation email with details.


Weight Room

The weight room is our most recognizable fitness space with a variety of equipment to fit your needs.

  • Free Weights
  • Selectorized Machines
  • Plate-Loaded Machines

Cardiovascular Area

The cardio deck is located on the third floor and includes treadmills, elliptical and rowing machines, and a three-lane, 1/7 mile  track. 

  • Arc Trainers
  • Ellipticals
  • Recumbent Bikes
  • Rowers
  • Stair Climbers
  • Treadmills
  • Upper Body Ergometers (ADA accessible)
  • Upright Bikes 

Additional Areas

Additional equipment can also be found outside the climbing wall, and on the weight room balcony when the STWFC Outdoor Pool is open/weather permitting.
