Personal Training

Customized personal training is available for all students, faculty and staff.

Our trainers are certified fitness professionals with credentials from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).  Our trainers can help you achieve your fitness and wellness goals through one-hour personal training sessions and individual program design packages.

If you are a new client or curious about learning more about personal training, please fill out this Inquiry Form and a personal trainer will reach out to you to set up a consultation.

Note: a new client is defined as anyone who has not completed a personal training session with USC Fitness.

Personal training sessions are offered to current USC students, in good standing, with access to Campus Recreation facilities.

We offer a variety of options to help clients reach their training and health goals. New clients will receive a fitness assessment which is an important tool in designing an individualized program.

New Client Options:

  • Fitness Assessment and 1 Training Session - $75
  • Fitness Assessment & 3 Training Session Package - $115
  • Fitness Assessment & 6 Training Session Package - $187
  • Fitness Assessment & 9 Training Session Package - $250

Personal training sessions are offered at Campus Recreation facilities for individuals that have purchased a membership with Campus Recreation.

New clients have multiple options to assist you in meeting your training and health goals.  New clients will receive an assessment which is an important tool in designing an individualized program that is safe and effective for you!

New Client Options:

  • Fitness Assessment & 3 Training Session Package - $130

If you have an Early Bird membership, personal training sessions can only be scheduled during those membership hours.

If you are a returning client, you can purchase a new session package below.  If it has been more than 6 months since your last personal training session, you will be required to purchase a Fitness Assessment before continuing training to ensure safe and effective programming.

Personal training sessions are offered to current USC students, in good standing, with access to Campus Recreation facilities.

InBody 270 – The InBody 270 accurately measures your body composition in less than 15 seconds. You will receive a result sheet with key body composition components to track your progress and health which include:

  • Skeletal Muscle Mass
  • Percent Body Fat
  • Body Fat Mass
  • Basal Metabolic Rate and more

Fitness assessments are necessary to obtain an individualized base-line measurement and help you set specific and measurable goals.

The assessment will measure multiple components of your fitness including muscular endurance and strength, cardiovascular endurance, body composition and flexibility. This information allows your trainer to personalize a plan specifically for you.

*Note: a Fitness Assessment does not include an Inbody Analysis (must be purchased separately).

Your personal trainer will design a 4-6 week program with specific exercises and recommendations based on your goals. Your personal trainer will follow up within a 2-3 week window to check on your progress and answer questions or address any concerns.
