Mindfulness Programs

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention on purpose. Mindfulness can help you decrease stress, regulate your emotions and reduce anxiety and depression.

The Importance of Mindfulness

Greater awareness of the ways the body and mind work together can reveal how your unconscious thoughts, feelings and behaviors can undermine your overall health.

Mindfulness and meditation have been recommended as treatment for:

  • Anxiety
  • Chronic Pain
  • Depression
  • Eating Disorders
  • Health Concerns
  • Panic Attacks
  • Sleep Disturbances

The Practice of Mindfulness

Student Health offers you the space and the guidance to help you navigate the often stressful times that come with higher education.  Each semester we hold different mindfulness programming including Virtual Reality Mindfulness, Guided Mediations, Yoga practice, Mindfulness workshops and more.
