- “Normal Work Schedule. The work schedules of full-time faculty are necessarily flexible but, as a guide, the normal teaching assignment will be twelve hours per semester or its equivalent. Carolina Alert – Students, faculty and staff should register to receive Carolina Alerts for up-to-the-moment campus safety news.

The below social media accounts are used to disseminate the same emergency alerts that are sent to the Rave Guardian app (for Columbia and all PC campuses). However, alerts are disseminated to the affected campus only, not the whole system, so if a faculty/staff member frequents more than one campus he/she should register to receive alerts for each of those campuses when registering for the Rave Guardian app, and if they have Twitter/Facebook, set to receive alerts when something is posted to those pages.
