Cocky's Canine PAALS
What to Expect
Cocky's Canine PAALS is an on campus partner for the non-profit, Columbia based organization PAALS, or Palmetto Animal Assisted Living Services. Our main goal is to bring together student volunteers who are passionate about working with dogs and helping the community at the same time, especially at a time when PAALS is experiencing a high demand for more service dogs. Our volunteers do everything from working hands on with the PAALS' dogs in training to fundraising to volunteering at PAALS events. We also work to raise awareness about the work PAALS does and the countless people who benefit everyday from the aid of service dogs. We welcome all students, regardless of major or year!
Registered Student Organization (RSO): student organizations that are independent legal entities from the University, have no delegated authority from the University, and do not perform functions on behalf of the university.
