Gamecock Economic Society
What to Expect
The Gamecock Economic Society is open to any interested full-time University of South Carolina student to discuss economic theory, contemporary economic issues, and other related subjects with like-minded peers, foremost in the form of Socratic discussion but also through peer-to-peer pedagogy, informal presentation, and joint literature review. The Society further serves to facilitate personal and professional connections between members, provide meaningful topic-related events, and bring in expert accounts from professors.
Registered Student Organization (RSO): student organizations that are independent legal entities from the University, have no delegated authority from the University, and do not perform functions on behalf of the university.
