Girl Up
What to Expect
Girl Up Campaign is an international, nonprofit organization hosted at the United Nations. Girl Up's fundraising efforts support the United Nations' initiative to provide young girls in developing countries with an equal chance at education and a life free from violence. Girl Up is a by-girls, for-girls movement that focuses on empowering girls to strive for gender equality and providing them with leadership development and a community of like-minded people. Girl Up club at the University of South Carolina plans events to educate and empower girls and to raise awareness to girl-related issues all over the world.
Registered Student Organization (RSO): student organizations that are independent legal entities from the University, have no delegated authority from the University, and do not perform functions on behalf of the university.
