Preston Mentor Program

What to Expect

The Preston Peer Mentor Program matches incoming Preston Residential College students with a diverse group of Preston students who are dedicated to fostering student development and building leadership skills. This one-semester program strives to enhance the first-year experience within Preston by providing a peer mentor to help new students make a more successful transition from high school to college, both socially and academically.

Term: Ongoing

Participation Instructions: Apply: Send in your application, and you'll be matched with a returning Preston resident who will be your resource as you begin life as a Preston resident and Gamecock. Incoming first year students can apply for the program starting in May. Returning and former residents can apply to serve as a mentor starting in March. Getting Involved: If you're interested in learning more about the Preston Mentor Program, please contact Sarah Kelly at morgans@mailbox.sc.edu.
