Timmy Global Health

What to Expect

The Timmy Global Health Chapter at the University of South Carolina is on a mission to provide sustainable healthcare to local villages of the Amazon in Ecuador. Our students have an interest in healthcare and share a propensity to heal, educate and advocate for those in need. Our chapter is always looking for student members as well as healthcare professionals looking to make a difference in the world around us! We go on a yearly medical brigade to Tena, Ecuador. We also spend the year volunteering in the local community with organizations such as Transitions and Ronald McDonald House.

Registered Student Organization (RSO): student organizations that are independent legal entities from the University, have no delegated authority from the University, and do not perform functions on behalf of the university.

Term: Ongoing
