Women LEAD
What to Expect
The purpose of Women LEAD is to establish a supportive and sustainable community of diverse undergraduate women focused on cultivating a deeper understanding of their leadership capabilities and the issues women face in academic, social, and professional environments. We hold a 6-week Spring Program, along with various events throughout the academic year, that will allow you to reach these goals and meet other empowered women along the way. We aim to create a community that lives up to the motto of "women supporting women" in every sense of the phrase. The goal of our program is for each participant to develop tangible and intangible leadership skills to be used to make an impact within the Carolina community and beyond.
Registered Student Organization (RSO): student organizations that are independent legal entities from the University, have no delegated authority from the University, and do not perform functions on behalf of the university.
