What to Expect
The USC ANS Student Section hosts seminars in collaboration with the Columbia Local Section which consists of representatives typically from Westinghouse, Dominion Energy, and Savannah River National Laboratory. These meetings serve as networking events for both students and local industry professionals. They are completely free of charge for students and are open to anyone interested. Site tours and workshops are usually at Westinghouse, V.C. Summer Nuclear Power Plant, or Savannah River National Lab.
Registered Student Organization (RSO): student organizations that are independent legal entities from the University, have no delegated authority from the University, and do not perform functions on behalf of the university.
