Dr. Andy Schumpert and his colleagues awarded an Integrative and Experiential Learning Community of Practice Grant

Congratulations to Dr. Charles “Andy” Schumpert (PI) and his co-PIs Drs. William “Trey” Franklin, Megan Gamble, Kristen Hogan, Eilea Knotts, Elina Levina, April South, and Amanda Zeigler, on their recent $4,995 Integrative and Experiential Learning Community of Practice Grant! Funding will support the creation and implementation of  a Course-based Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE), BIOL 498. Implementing CUREs in the Biological Sciences curriculum through BIOL 498 will greatly enhance the number of students that are able to participate in undergraduate research and positively impact more diverse populations of students.
