The Francophone Studies Program at the University of South Carolina offers courses in the language, literatures and cultures of France and the Francophone world that can lead to both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Francophone Studies, Comparative Literature, Linguistics, and Global Studies. Students acquire advanced language skills and fluent cultural knowledge through courses taken on campus, and through study abroad. A direct exchange program in Arras, France and an established summer program in Tours, France, help students to acquire linguistic and cultural proficiencies in and beyond French. Graduates with a French major will have gained
