This two-week Maymester course from May 2nd - 18th, 2024 in the state of Saxony-Anhat will explore individual and societal ways in which Germans strive to live sustainably. Saxony-Anhalt is a leader, even in Germany, in renewable energy where every second kilowatt hour is generated from wind, sun, or biomass.
In addition to filling out this form, please ask one professor to email me a short letter of recommendation in which they explain how long and in what context they know you and what they think you could contribute to the trip. They can email it to ducate@sc.edu.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but due no later than January 31, 2024. There are limited spots since we will be staying with host families for a majority of the trip. Once you are notified that you have been selected to participate, you will receive information about the next steps, including the deposit.
