Thomas Burke, Professor of Philosophy at USC, was recently interviewed in a series “I Am An American Philosopher” hosted by the Society for the Advancement of American Philosophy. He describes how he came to be interested in American Philosophy, classical American pragmatism, and the work of John Dewey in particular. There is a brief overview of his current research aimed largely at advancing Dewey’s philosophy of logic.
