The Nursing Mentorship Program is designed to help students and recent alumni navigate the nursing profession by pairing them with an experienced Gamecock nurse alum. Virtual and in-person opportunities available. 

Overview of the Program:

• The mentor-mentee relationship is primarily one of conversation. The parties meet to discuss the mentee’s career and goals. The mentee seeks feedback and input from the mentor who uses their expertise and experience to provide feedback to the mentee.
• The goal of this program is to retain nurses in the nursing profession by providing the support and guidance they need to ease the transition from student nurse to the workforce and continued professional growth to meet career goals.
• Matches will take place for one year.
