The overall goal of the Oceans and Human Health Center on Climate Change Interactions (OHHC2I), Community
Engagement Core is to Translate results from the four research projects assessing the effects of climate
(temperature, salinity and pH), and alterations in trace metal geochemistry exposure
on Vibrios and Microcystis aeruginosa toxins to develop and implement community-appropriate
outreach, education and training products (e.g. predictive models, forecasts and visualization
tools for drinking water, contact recreation and seafood safety) that will inform
and protect the public.
Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
