Why you chose to pursue your degree within the ASPH: I chose to pursue my degree within the Arnold School of Public Health because I fell in love with USC and found a supportive, tight-knit community that made adjusting to a large school from far away so much easier. The ASPH has given me the chance to fulfill my Physician Assistant school prerequisites while also exploring classes I’m passionate about. Along the way, I’ve made meaningful professional connections and grown so much thanks to the incredible opportunities, supportive professors, advisors, and mentors who have guided me on my journey. I am so grateful for this program, as it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for both my education and future career.
Advice for future students: My biggest advice for future students is to keep an open mind and not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Take advantage of all the amazing opportunities this program has to offer, whether it's joining clubs, attending events, or connecting with professors and peers. Getting involved has shown me new perspectives and taught me invaluable lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Most importantly, cherish your time here. Four years go by fast, so make the most of every moment!
