Sign up for the Civil Rights Alternative Spring Break



The Civil Rights Tour-Alternative Spring Break will take place March 11-15. The trip fee is $300, which includes transportation, lodging, museum admission and some meals. 

During the 2019 trip, students will have an opportunity to learn about slavery and its impact on African-American culture and traditions. They will also explore the roles politics, law and gender played in the Civil Rights Movement and society today.

Students will visit sites of historical importance in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Georgia. Additionally, they will work within the various communities at different sites related to the Civil Rights Movement.
