Volunteers needed for annual bicycle count

In honor of the National Bicycle and Pedestrian Documentation Project, the city of Columbia is seeking volunteers this fall to conduct a bicycle count to evaluate the city's yearly progress. The bike count will be held Sept. 10-21.
Volunteers will count bicyclists on different streets and identify specific activities along the roadway. All volunteer hours will be signed and approved by a representative from the city.
