Cliff Apartments removed to make way for Campus Village

After a year on hold, the abatement and removal of Cliff Apartments resumed in February. This step is only the beginning, as it marks the first phase in building the Campus Village project, which was approved in the fall of 2019. The project calls for four residential buildings to be constructed, accommodating 1,800 students at the northeast corner of Sumter and Whaley streets.
