Apply by Oct. 16 for $3,000 fall internship incentives



University of South Carolina students with in-state internships and co-ops for the fall semester have through Oct. 16 to apply for $3,000 awards.

Why it matters: The South Carolina Internship Program supports students gaining work experience in high-demand industries in the Palmetto State. 

  • The program also recognizes S.C. employers who provide work opportunities to USC students, helping to keep top talent in the state.   

What’s next: USC will distribute the one-time payments to students on a first-come, first-served basis.  

  • Preference will be given to undergraduate students with internships and co-ops in the manufacturing, aerospace, energy, health and life sciences and financial services industries.
