Graphic Design Principles for Everyday Use

Course Description

Interested in art and design but not an artist by nature? Learn the basics about the elements and principles of design, and how to use them together to create a cohesive design. In this course we also discuss the basics of typography, design do's and don'ts, how to critique design, and study various examples of good design.

Anna Westbury

Anna Westbury

Anna Westbury is the director of communications for USC's College of Education. She is an alumnus of USC earning both a Bachelor of Arts in visual communication and a Master of International Hospitality and Tourism Management. Anna is also the founder of creative studio Feather + Fern. With a variety of experience ranging from branding to event design, she gathered her interests in one design nest, showcasing her attention to detail and insatiable curiosity.

If you plan to pay by check or purchase order, select "register by mail." Complete the form and return a printout with payment to: USC Continuing Education and Conferences, Close/Hipp Building at 1705 College Street, Suite 591, Columbia, SC 29208. Your seat is not guaranteed until payment is received.
