The OneCarolina Training team is offering two options for query training. The majority of USC users will benefit greatly from Query Viewer training and more technical users can continue on to Query Manager training. A detailed description for each course is below.
Query Viewer Course
A new 2-hour Query Viewer class is being developed, with the first delivery date targeted for early May. Queries are reporting tools used to find all kinds of useful information housed within PeopleSoft.
This course will show you how to:
- Search for USC public queries
- Run a query to html or Excel
- Export query results into Excel for further analysis
- Schedule a query so that it can run at predefined times or on a recurring schedule

Query Manager Course
Query Manager Training is for individuals that want to design or modify queries on PeopleSoft Finance data. This class is geared toward those individuals who understand the concepts of relational databases, table structures, and SQL. Completion of this classroom training is required in order to request access to this functionality in PeopleSoft.
The Query Manager class is NOT intended for those lacking technical acumen of the concepts mentioned.
The class will be held Wednesday, April 6th, at University Technology Services, 1244 Blossom Street Room 301 A.
